Ingredients
- 225g/8oz block halloumi cheese hard
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1 lemon
Method
- Cut the halloumi into 1cm thick slices
- Dip the halloumi slices in the beaten egg & the sesame seeds
- Fry on a medium heat for a couple of minutes on each side until golden-brown
- Serve warm with a squeeze of fresh lemon
