Ingredients
- 225g/8oz block halloumi cheese hard
- 1/2 cup light brown olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of ouzo
- parsley or dill chopped
Method
- Cut the halloumi into 1 cm thick slices
- Bake them on the grill or a frying pan until it softens and gets golden-brown
- Mix the olive oil, the lemon juice, and the ouzo and pour them on top of the baked halloumi
- Garnish with chopped dill or parsley and serve warm
